Calgary At A Crossroads

Young architects are making Calgary the hotspot for residential design.
"What's remarkable about architects working in Calgary is that they're young and they're building. Many of them are graduates of the Architecture Program of the University of Calgary's Faculty of Environmental Design, a program important for emphasizing a sophisticated language of architecture that is rooted in issues of site and construction materials... At nearly one million people, Calgary needs to stop promoting that retro idea of the introverted urban experience."
