Divided European City Looks Toward A Reunion
A city bisected by the Polish-German border faces the challenges of a reunion.

Germans who lived there were forced to leave, and Zgorzelec was reborn as a Polish town...Soon, work will begin on a pedestrian bridge, which will finally link the two sides of this sundered place in a more permanent way."
