Kunstler Discusses Cities And Oil

The end of an era of cheap oil will change everything about the way we live, says James Howard Kunstler.
"The truth is that we're in for some very difficult times ahead. We have to re-scale and re-size the way we do virtually everything, including farming, retail commerce and trade, and schooling. Everything in America's going to have to get smaller and more local.I don't think we're going to have any choice. Large-scale, industrial-style farming will not be possible in the post-cheap-fossil-fuel age."
