Honoring Olmsted

Seattle, considered by some to have one of the best-preserved Olmsted park systems celebrates the legendary landscape architect.
"Seattle is celebrating its Olmsted Park Centennial this year, looking at the legacy of that effort to preserve some of the city's most breathtaking views of mountains and water for all to enjoy. At the same time, the city and the region are laying plans to build more parks and to protect open space as this generation's legacy for the future."
