The Phoenix suburb of Gilbert has the the higest proportion of married-couple households.
"Pick any 10 residences in the family-friendly southeast Valley boomtown, and the likelihood is that just under seven (69.5 percent) will be home to a married couple, with or without children.Nationally, a majority of married couples are in suburban areas, and the top three places are growing rapidly, according to the census study, released today."
