Building A Walkable Woodward

Woodward could become southeast Michigan's first big example of the walkable urban lifestyle.
"Stacking condos near Woodward would do just what urban planners want: fight sprawl by creating pockets of pedestrians spending money in areas already built up... The rub? Getting neighbors cozy with the radical changes planned for their skyline, and keeping profit-minded developers from building condo towers that dwarf nearby homes."
