Many want a house surrounded by greenery, but saving trees can add up.
The City of San Antonio debates the value of trees while losing more than a third of its tree cover and falling into ozone non-attainment in the last 16 years. Developers claim that the cost of saving trees outweighs added value to property. Some specific dollar estimates are given.
