Two designs are reportedly finalists in the challenge to rebuild the former site of the World Trade Center towers in Manhattan, New York.

"Both designs feature structures higher than the world's tallest tower, the Petronas towers in Malaysia, the Associated Press reported. The two firms behind the plans are Libeskind, who designed Berlin's Jewish Museum, and the international Think team, led by New York-based architects Rafael Vinoly and Frederic Swartz."
