University Of Arizona To Cut Planning, Architecture

University of Arizona cutbacks include a recommendation for elimination of the School of Landscape Architecture and School of Planning.
"In many of these cases, the officials said, the programs named Tuesday had low student enrollment and/or were already experiencing financial difficulties and would have required substantial new investment. The choices were made on the basis of six criteria: educational excellence, research and creative excellence, student demand, vital public impact, revenue generation and interdisciplinary need."
