Arizona has some of the lowest residential water rates in the nation but that could change soon.
"Not only do Arizonans pay some of the lowest residential rates in the nation...the state's farmers tap into reliable, subsidized sources that allow them to survive a shifting economy.All that could change soon. Years of growth and a lingering drought are straining resources and giving weight to arguments that water should be treated as a valuable commodity, even if that means consumers wind up paying more."
