Grocery Site Goes To Single-family Homes

Scottsdale, AZ bought the 13-acre grocery site in 2001 expressly to control its development.
Two years after buying the former Smitty's grocery store site in south Scottsdale, AZ city leaders agreed Tuesday to sell most of the land to a developer to build single-family housing.
