Minorities are now the majority in many of Canada's urban centers.
"The shift in those communities, and similar shifts in other cities, could have profound implications for many facets of Canadian life...the trend also underscores the challenges Canada will face as its population continues to diversify. The population's changing composition could affect everything from cultural life to politics."
