New Urbanism Pioneers To Plan $500 Million Community

Duany Plater-Zyberk & Co will develop the plan for a $500 million community for St. Charles County, Missouri.
"Whittaker Builders Inc. is planning a $500 million community, called New Town in St. Charles County. The company has hired Duany Plater Zyberk & Co to begin a site plan.... The project, still in the early planning stages, is billed as cutting-edge, new-urban design: a densely built community with shops, parks and other amenities within walking distance of all its residents. "
