Fired Official: New Yorkers 'Dumb'

The head of the city's customer-service office is fired after calling New York city workers "dumb," "whining" and "stupid" in an Internet essay.

"The Mayor's Action Center - which promises "efficient and effective" services - is a one-stop customer-service center for city residents, and is the clearinghouse for complaints and all letters and e-mails to City Hall... "I take painkillers, sleep a lot and think about killing every citizen and employee of New York City every minute I'm awake," he fumed in the bizarre tirade."
