Six U.S. cities "have been chosen to be part of a tactical urbanism workshop series," reports Jason Sayer.

Akron, OH; Austin, TX;  Fayetteville, AR; Long Beach, CA; Washington, D.C.; and West Palm Beach, Florida will partner with will alongside with Street Plans Collaborative to "design a workshop that encompasses tactical urbanism methodologies with a 'hands-on' project that positively impacts a local street or public space," according to Sayer.

The six participating cities were announced in June.
