Seattle Gets To Farmland Preservation

Leaders in the Seattle region, who see farming as an essential component of the economy and quality of life, are revitalizing agriculture.

Patty Cantrell, who manages the Michigan Land Use Institute's NewEntrepreneurial Agriculture project, recently returned from Seattlewhereshe saw first-hand what sound economic and land use policy can do toassist farmers and conserve farmland.
