Ft. Lauderdale Debates Future Visions For Beach

City of Fort Lauderdale has commissioned the Urban Land Institute to study the future of the beach.
"The...report [by the Urban Land Institute] is expected to answer some basic questions: Should the beach be redeveloped to suit the residents who live there? Or, should it be geared toward the city, the county, or South Florida beachgoers? Or tourists worldwide?Where does the beach go from here?"
