Property Owners Oppose 'Cracker Style' Design Standards

In response to rapid suburbanization, planners spent two years creating a 'Cracker' style design standard for central Land O'Lakes in Pasco County, Property owners opposed the standards.
merchants complained that the plan, which could dictate architectural standards in central Land O'Lakes, would deprive them of freedom to develop their property as they would like... the free market, not county planners, should dictate the appearance of the community. "
