In Florida, the two candidates for governor maintain strongly contrasting positions toward growth.
"Gov. Jeb Bush, a former Miami developer, said the arrival of thousands of newcomers each year boosts the state's economy. But he said the state can do a better job of managing growth...Democratic challenger Bill McBride has made the need to control growth an important part of his pitch to voters."
