County Changes Work Hours To Ease Congestion

Palm Beach County Administrator Bob Weisman is encouraging department heads to implement four-day work weeks with ten-hour days to ease traffic congestion.

"While extended hours for the public to call the office are a side benefit, reducing rush-hour traffic is the motivating force...those who work are coming in early and staying late so their cars are not on the roads at the same time as most other rush hour commuters."
