New Transportation Bill May Have $300 Billion Budget

National transportation authorities are speculating the total amount of the 2004 Congressional "T-3" funds.
""There will be more money" for projects such as these and others nationwide, predicts Rep. Earl Blumenauer, D-Ore., one of Congress' big guns on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee, and an outspoken advocate for balancing transit needs with highways."
