Downtown Kansas City needs to create places so compelling that people can't not go downtown.
"A powerful sense of place downtown would include more housing, a new arts palace and other big attractions, and efficient parking and transit.But it also means cleaning up streets and sidewalks, overhauling blighted buildings, and making parks and public spaces inviting."
