Transit Agency Terminates Scandal-Plagued Red Cross Contract

Southern California's largest transit agency terminated the charity's contract and is now looking into potential lawsuit.
"The transit board's general manager, Thomas Larwin, said the Red Cross admitted to defrauding the regional transportation agency by misrepresenting on-time performance for services it provides in a program called MTS Access. The program provides rides in lift-equipped minibuses and vans for people whose disabilities keep them from using regular buses and trolleys."
