City Authorizes Public To Throw Away Nuisance Signs
16 October 2002 - 12:00pm

"City Manager Bob Collins in late August reissued a memorandum stating it's OK for city employees to remove annoying signs. If the signs are of little value, they can be destroyed, Collins said. If they're made of metal or are deemed valuable, owners should be notified that they have 24 hours to remove signs from public right of way."
