Lack Of Federal Money Stalls Environmental Cleanup

A newly completed $8.4 million cleanup plant in Ridgefield, Oregon stands idle due to a lack of operational funds.
"And it's probably the way many future environmental cleanup projects will be done...State and federal grants are getting smaller, cleanups more expensive, and small payments can't be banked until there is money for a big project."
