Traffic Cameras Foster Safer Streets

Photo traffic enforcement has significantly cut crash rates in four Greater Phoenix cities.
"In Mesa, Chandler, Tempe and Ahwatukee Foothills, photo traffic enforcement has helped cut crash rates, reduce red light running and lower speeds. Photo radar was put into use 15 years ago this month in Paradise Valley. It has since spread nationwide."
