What are the links between casinos and economic growth?
"Many tribes likely will add hotel rooms or other amenities if they expand their casinos. Several were ready to do so before the proposed gaming compact changes. But economists and gaming experts say it is unlikely that even the most ambitious plans would produce more than a localized burst of development, primarily because no matter how many machines or tables they added, the casinos would still be dots spread out across a big map."
