City Drafts Tree-Preservation List

A planning commission in Oregon rates tree species with respect to conservation potential levels.
"The tree-preservation effort, she explained, is part of the city's long-term quest to meet the state's planning Goal 5, which requires local governments "to protect natural resources and conserve scenic and historic areas and open spaces.""
