Massive investment in luxury resorts will create Arizona's two new largest hotels -- aiming to lure convention groups from Las Vegas.
"Guests at the $125 million Sheraton Wild Horse Pass, which opens next month, will ride quiet, electric boats along a 2.5-mile-long 'river' to its golf courses and casino... All three newcomers have the latest amenities of destination resorts: plenty of golf; elaborate spas with indoor and outdoor treatment areas; fine dining and casual restaurants; and sprawling water parks with slides, fountains and flowing 'lazy rivers.'"
