City Considers Affordable Housing Policy

Freemont, CA, is considering a new policy that aims for more affordable and high-density housing.
"The effort to repair what critics call Fremont's dismal record on affordable housing goes public this week with two meetings, each of which attempts to come up with solutions...the meetings will also give residents a chance to brace themselves for change in the city of overwhelmingly low-density, single-family homes."
