Cities Anticipate Significant Water Cutbacks

Salt River Project will reduce water deliveries to Phoenix area cities by one-third next year.
"The decision will force Valley cities to rely more heavily alternate sources, such as wells and the Central Arizona Project, which brings Colorado River water to Phoenix. Farmers who irrigate crops with SRP water will have to adjust planting schedules and possibly produce less."
