Architects Seek Permanence Of Los Angeles

Architecture critic Leon Whiteson discusses the relationship between Los Angeles and its avant-garde architects.
The Plannign Report presents an excerpt of an article written by architecture critic Leon Whiteson, curator of the exhibition titled "Architecture for the New Millennium." Sponsored by the California/International Arts Foundation, the exhibition features the work of five prominent avant-garde architects, and is currently on display at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Taipei, Taiwan, through October 15. Subsequently, the exhibition is scheduled for venues in Taichung, Taiwan, Guangxhou, China, and Macau through spring 2003.
