Global Warming Increases Wildfire Risk

Combined factors will tend to increase underbrush and fuel load.

"Global warming could increase forest undergrowth across the West and lead to more wildfires, according to a new study.Higher temperatures accompanied by increased precipitation and rising carbon dioxide levels could boost fuel loads of brush and other undergrowth caused by decades of fire suppression, researchers say."
