Detroit's 'Bookmobiles' Provide Literate Service

Detroit Public Library delivers books and technology to downtown neighborhoods.
"The bookmobiles will carry a 2,800-item collection, including books, videos, CDs and DVDs. Additionally, each bookmobile will have five computer stations with wireless Internet connections and access to the library's online catalog. Visitors can even sign up for a library card on the bookmobile."
