Squabbling Counties Hope To Revamp Boundaries

Officials of two Oregonian counties seek to resolve ongoing taxation and revenue disputes by amending their jurisdictions.
"Officials in Wilsonville and Tualatin say the idea has been around for a while, on the theory that it's easier for everybody if all of a city's residents deal with the same county. Tualatin Mayor Lou Ogden said it makes sense for cities to be as much as possible within one county, so residents have uniform access to services and pay similar taxes and fees."
