Talent Search For New WTC Designs

The Lower Manhattan Development Corp. plans to hire up to five new firms to offer a diversity of new designs for the WTC site.
"Firms will be sought that can bring a broader variety of experience to the project, such as work with residential buildings, which were not initially contemplated for the site... What amounts to a talent search to revive the beleaguered development process is meant in part to show that planners have listened to public criticism and are willing to incorporate new elements."
