A Fix For Transportation Troubles

Economics professor Chris Weber suggests that charging tolls can alleviate transportation problems.
"First, it would be better to generate some revenue to pay for construction and maintenance than none at all...Second, funding the highway system through tolls would require that those who benefit most from the highway system, the state's drivers, pay for it...Third and most important, a wisely managed toll system will reduce congestion on area roads."
