South Carolia Supreme Court Upholds Land Use Plan

Opponents of the plan argued that the County Council didn't get approval from the county's planning commission.
"The state Supreme Court says Richland County's land use plan was legally adopted... Supporters said the plan would promote pedestrian-friendly development and protection of environmentally sensitive land. Opponents said it will significantly lower property values in rural areas."
