Miami-Dade County will join Broward and Palm Beach counties to give more power to Tri-Rail.
"Mass transit in South Florida got a huge boost Tuesday when the Miami-Dade County Commission unanimously backed a plan to join Broward and Palm Beach counties in turning Tri-Rail into a more powerful transit agency that would oversee regional bus and rail service in the three counties."
