New Urbanism Project Gets Mixed Reviews

Professionals attending the Congress of New Urbanism's 10th annual convention in Miami toured Mizner Park, promoted as a successful application of New Urbaninsm ideas.
"Sixty urban planners and architects from around the country gave Mizner Park mixed reviews after a recent guided tour to tout it as a case study in successful new urbanism planning.The tour took place last month for the professionals who attended the Congress of New Urbanism's 10th annual convention in Miami. New urbanism is a design movement aimed at creating central, pedestrian-friendly neighborhoods that feature a diverse range of housing, where residents can walk to their jobs and cultural attractions."
