Your New Home In A 40-story High Rise

2 July 2002 - 12:00pm

A Chicago marketing executive plans to build 80 residential "homes" in a 40-story high rise -- doggie corridors and all.

"He's planning no more than 80 units in a 40-story building, with some units taking up whole floors. Prices will be $500 to $600 per square foot... He's come up with some unusual features to entice buyers, including a dumbwaiter to deliver pizzas, mail and packages directly to residents, and a "doggie condo" — a central area that will give owners an alternative to taking their dogs outside late at night or in bad weather."
