Kids Redesign Their City

This summer in Columbus Ohio kids age six through twelve will have the opportunity to use a new multi-user software program called the Interactor. The software allows the kids to manipulate photos to create their reconfigured city. It gives the kids a chance to produce artwork, learn about the urban area they live in, see other parts of the city, and use technology they might normally not experiment with.A neighborhood historian, city planner, gardener and representative from a water treatment facility, among others, will visit the kids at the summer program to talk about what makes a city run.
