Confessions Of A Suburbanite

A former writer for the Philadelphia Daily News has spent the last three years living in the 'other Philadelphia': the suburbs.
"In the suburbs, there are many, many folks whose connection with Philadelphia is practically nonexistent. They hardly ever go to the city. They live in one suburb, and commute to another, traveling on increasingly busy roads and highways.Indeed, it almost feels as though you're discriminated against when you listen to the morning traffic reports. The roads they talk about all lead to Center City. I can tell you from first-hand experience, thousands and thousands of us don't care about that - we go from suburb to suburb, and I-95 is just not part of the equation."
