There's a great deal of rumbling going on in Los Angeles these days. What's causing the latest upheaval? No, it's not another entertainment industry strike or even another earthquake. The nation's second largest city finds itself on the verge of a possible breakup, with Hollywood and the San Fernando Valley area residents threatening to separate from the rest of Los Angeles. A successful secession could have serious implications for local real estate developers in addition to leaving the newly reconfigured Los Angeles with a depleted budget at a time when the city can ill afford to lose any additional revenue...
