Congress Plans For More Forest Protection

Scientific research and strong public support prompted Congress to action protecting National Forests from development.
"The National Forest Roadless Area Conservation Act is bipartisan legislation that would protect nearly 60 million acres of pristine National Forest lands from most logging and roadbuilding."
