Eugene's Land Use Code Flip Flop

Just months after approving its updated land use plan, the city was forced to revert back to the older version.
"The council voted unanimously to reinstate its updated land use code, which took six years to write and spans more than 400 pages. But to get around legal challenges from development and business interests, councilors agreed to pull several new standards, including greater protection of natural resources."
