New Plan To Improve Regional Transit

Mid-America Regional Council will develop a 10-year plan to improve mass transit in the region.
"The Mid-America Regional Council on Wednesday announced it would work with transit advocates and civic and business leaders to develop a 10-year service plan to improve regional public transit...This effort differs from previous transit initiatives. Instead of focusing on a single project, such as light rail, the proposal will take a larger view."
