Nation's Most Endangered Waterway

American Rivers has ranked The Missouri River as the nation's most endangered river for the second year in a row.
"An environmental group says the Missouri River, tamed by six dams and managed with a preference for commerce over conservation, is threatened like no other river in the nation... For years, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has been considering changing the way it manages the river and its dams."
