More High Rent, Mixed-use Development For Stamford

Stamford works to add to its already abundant supply of luxury downtown housing with another mixed-use development in the works.
"For more than 20 years, Stamford has struggled to refute the deprecatory phrase 'city without an identity,' as it worked its way through redevelopment, from fading industrial town to the commercial, financial and residential center that it has become.Now an ambitious plan for a 40-acre development on the city's waterfront has been prepared for the eastern shore of the West Branch of Stamford Harbor, and an application to build the project is to be presented this week to the Stamford Planning and Zoning Boards."
