ABC News reviews daring ideas that may transform transportation including flying cars, personal trains, fast boats, and big blimps.
"If innovators have their way, by 2050 morning commutes will be swift and private inside personal 'pod' trains. Shoppers will do their grocery runs by strapping on flying scooters and zipping over the treetops to the local market...Many of the new transportation technologies, including personal train pods and skycars, are already in the testing phase and are promised within the next five to 10 years."[Includes a "City of the Future" animation]
